If you are looking for a magical ride on a beautifully creative carousel, take the crosstown bus over to the Westside in Harlem to Riverbank State Park on W 145th St and Riverside Drive. Here you will discover a carousel or merry-go-round that was designed by children along with their paintings hanging above each animal. The Totally Kid Carousel was created by Maria Reidelbach and Milo Mottola and over 35 children. But, one must hurry as the carousel is only open during the warmer months.
Harlem boasts Riverbank State Park’s magical carousel as the most creative by far.
